Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG Vs. Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara

Benefit products have been a part of almost every beauty guru’s makeup collection for quite some time. When they released their BadGal volumizing mascara, it created a buzz in the beauty world. For $28.95, you get 0.3 oz of product.

The creative packaging has some studs with a soft matt touch finish; it feels sturdy and heavy which makes it feel more expensive. The wand bends very easily which allegedly is supposed to help you reach every angle and apply the mascara more smoothly.

With this 360-degree reach, the slim packed brush can reach your lashes from root to tip. The bristles are very thin, short, and spikey. The mascara is supposed to wing your lashes and add incredible volume to them.

The product comes with big claims. The formula is supposed to be “gravity-defying” and contains some aero light particles derived from space technology.  The mascara is water-proof, smudge-resistant has some volumizing benefits to lift and curl the lashes, and it also has vitamin b5 to protect your lashes and help them grow in the long run.

The packaging of the roller lash mascara is extremely pretty. The bottle itself is black and basic. The cap, on the other hand, is pink and has some engraved details on it. The bottle contains 0.3 oz. of product and it retails for $22.99. It comes in two colors; black and brown. This mascara is supposed to lift and curl your lashes with volumizing effects to it.

The BadGal mascara really upped its game from the classic Benefit’s roller lash mascara. It’s more dramatic; your lashes will look thicker, more lifted, and close enough to fake lashes. This mascara is better for people who like their lashes more extra, unlike the roller lash's results that give more of a softer pretty finish.

The mascara succeeded in winging the bottom lashes in a more dramatic darker finish. While the packaging claims that the mascara will feel weightless, it doesn’t, it feels heavier than old mascaras by the same brand; the wand helps more product to stick to the lashes.

This might annoy some people but it gives extra length and volume. If you are not careful with the application, your lashes won’t necessarily look like they are stuck together, but it will lead to more spidery results.

Overall, this mascara deserves a 7 out of 10; it gives the very results it promises. Depending on the effect you want, you can either choose to go for a little boost with the roller or go extra dramatic with the BadGal mascara.
