Prepare for the final chapter as Roland and his ka-tet continue on the path to the Dark Tower. With Mia finally giving birth to her baby, another creature is born, one even more powerful than the evil man in black. But this child has his own intentions, searching for its father to exact his wrath.
With Eddie, Jake, Father Callahan and Susannah fending off vampires, Low-men and agents sent by the Crimson King himself, can they survive long enough for one final push to the tower? With the Crimson King getting closer and destiny working against them, this ka-tet are in for the fight of their lives.
Before this journey is over, Roland will face immeasurable struggles, fighting to remain on course for his ultimate destination. Will he finally reach the Dark Tower and discover the answers that have driven him throughout his life?
The ending to a tale that took more than 20 years to complete has finally arrived. But was it worth the wait? In a word, yes. While the ending of the end may not be everyone’s cup of tea, for me, it ended perfectly. But while the focus of this book maybe in its final few pages, let’s not forget that it took almost 1.4 million words to get here. The fun has certainly been in the journey itself.
With enough action to fill 3 full-length books, the pace never lets up as King delivers one of his most thrilling endings ever. While there certainly is plenty of tears along the way, this one story you will want to finish. Everything is tucked away nicely and if, like me, you’ve enjoyed the journey so far? You’ll appreciate what King offers you with its ending.
