Breaking Bad Season 5 - Review

This season is the best and last in a show that had already pushed the boundaries of television. The show kept getting better and better from season 1 rising bit by bit till it reached its masterpiece season. The perfect finale and it was done without a scratch -without a single detail left out of the story or a single mistake was done with the plot or the storyline. The ending was what this show deserved.

Walter now knew what he had to do to make things better again -to make them right. He knew that he is now capable of ruining everything for everyone, yet still being able to save his little family.

Everything is ruined, higher powers abandon Walter White. He knows he is losing everything, in this season Walter White is no longer Heisenberg, he is the outcome of both the characters. In this season he finally makes peace with himself and decides to do the right thing. He meets Lydia and Todd in a cafe looking like a homeless madman and pitches them a fake broken business plan.

He goes off to say goodbye to Skyler, to Walter Junior as he finally becomes the man of the house, and to Holly. They’re all amazing actors; you will not be able to hold your emotions back watching these scenes. Not many words are said but you feel their pain with every teardrop, every look, and every facial expression.

We see that he has a plan and we do not know what the plan is, but we know he is going to do something big. He is going to take everyone down alone. I love how they did it, it’s subtle and smart. He installs a machine gun onto the back of his truck, and has it shoot round after round until everyone is down!

Jesse kills Todd and he deserves it, it feels great watching him do it and how he does it -it's just so Jesse! Despite all the violence and the blood, the show makes sure it doesn’t lose it’s a humor and still manages to put a smile on our faces.

However, as everything gets wiped out, we find out that Walter fell too and Jesse asks himself if he should help him but he doesn’t give it more attention and leaves. And Walter looks at the lab with a smile and peace in his eyes.
