Friends - Season Six- Review

I think this is one of my favorite seasons of Friends; it’s hilarious, it’s classic and it will make you laugh out loud no matter how many times you watch it.

It takes Monica and Chandler’s relationship to the next level, and has Ross and Rachel messing around with each other -confused about their feelings and their complicated relationship as usual- but this season makes it funny and intimate. We get exposed to details in each of the six friends’ characters that are unique, funny, real, and therefore, very relatable.

Season 5 of friends ended when they were all in Vegas, they took a vacation and went to see Joey in a play but it turns out Joey was out of money and he had to take a job at a Casino.

Rachel and Ross wake up hungover and suffer memory loss because of the alcohol and they go have breakfast with the rest of the group for one last time in the hotel in Vegas.

Only to find out that they got drunk married in Vegas (which is a typical thing to do there) but luckily because this happens a lot, they can simply get an annulment and so Rachel asks Ross to do it but since he’s Ross, divorced two times already and still has endless feelings for Rachel, he doesn’t do it. She finds out later and they get into this huge, hilarious fight.

Monica and Chandler, on the other hand, decide they want to take their relationship to the next step. They’ve been happy together for some time now and decide they want to do something about it so they, instead of getting married, move in together.

And so Chandler moves out from Joeys which makes them both emotional and we get an episode of their memories together which will make you laugh out loud. At the end of the season though, Chandler still proposes to Monica.

This season Joey spends a whole episode pretending to be the owner of a Porsche because he was mistaken for one and he loved how it makes society, especially girls, deal with him so he decides to go on with the lie.

Reese Witherspoon guest stars in this season as Rachel’s sister and that episode is really funny. Also, we get to find out how Pheobe runs which still brings me personally absolute joy.
