Rick and Morty - Season 1 - Review

The first episode of Rick and Morty will leave you smiling and waiting for the next episode to play. It will hype you up, make you laugh, and leave you thinking of how smart this show is. It’s a masterpiece, a flawless start from an ambitious TV show.

I just wish the time between seasons is not so long because they usually take years to make a season but the first season is extra-ordinary.It will make you question all the systems around you. Rick uses his portal gun to travel to different dimensions. Dimensions that we heard of in other films, or heard about in sci-fi jokes, or theories, and some that we can hardly imagine.

It’s so well written though, everything will make sense to you even though it’s ridiculous to imagine. Every dimension has its own colors, characteristics, customs, power, and even cultures and traditions.

The details of this show are just so unbelievably great. Rick is the only one who understands all this and is capable of breaking the system. Saving the world and everyone else, especially his favorite sidekick, his grandson Morty.

Some of the episodes in this season are the most unique on television so far. The storyline and improvised dialogue are just catchy and super funny. If you dig deeper into details while watching, you will find out how rebellious this show is. It’s an absolutely fantastic animation show that will definitely get you hooked.

It contains bits about popular comedies on Television, inspired by Doctor who? But it’s nerdier and more surreal. You will absolutely love it and laugh your butt off. The show is not very traditional in its continuity, but it has the possibility of going on to infinity. It seems like these guys will never run of ideas and will not stop making us laugh. It’s just a genius show!
