Marvel's Studio the Avengers 2012 - Movie review

This is by far one of the most iconic movies of all time. Never before has such a star-studded movie been so epic. From the villain, the characters’ dynamic, and the nerve-wracking CGI filmed in 3D, The Avengers is a marvel to ponder on.

Of all the characters in this movie, only four of them have had previous standalone movies, so seeing all your favorite characters together on the same screen is enough to trigger a lot of excitement before you even start watching. Joss Whedon, director, and co-scriptwriter, really does bring his A-game in the making of this movie. This has resulted in a movie that can withstand the test of time.

The most important aspect of the story is probably the villain, especially since this first Avengers movie is the building block of all Marvel movies to come. The Avengers'' are assembled because earth is targeted by the sneering Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor's foster brother, who governs the Tesseract, a pulsing energy cube because unlocks a portal to the cosmos, where he plans to bring forth an extraterrestrial army to invade the earth, so he can get crowned Lord over humans. The details of where Loki resided since his feud with Thor and how he managed to pull the invasion of are all hidden.

This movie is more or less identical to other Marvel superhero movies. This recipe mainly follows this familiar sequence: a danger has risen; it is time to recruit the heroes. The antagonist has to be acted out. Those deficiencies in personalities are studied.

And last but not least, the last hour or so involves special effects in which a huge artificially structured battle takes place, contributing to a deafening collision, explosion, and massive fireballs. As true cinephiles, this can cause a rejection of the movie’s plot. However, Marvel's Studio The Avengers does exactly what is set out to do, cater to millions of comic book fans out there.
